A physiotherapist's work involves a variety of patients. Some are very young and active.
Students of the University of Health in Gdańsk are prepared for any situation and can easily manage a group of even the most energetic students.
On January 10, 2023, during a class on the "Adapted Physical Activity" module, physiotherapy students, under the watchful eye of their instructors, Dr. Ewa Grymel-Kulesza and Dr. Ewa Kucharska, performed physical exercises for a group of children. The roles of the young patients were played by members of the "Little Hero" Foundation. This wonderful initiative allowed the youngest students to spend time actively and allowed our students to improve their skills in working with children.
Little Hero Foundation„, whose goal is broadly understood social assistance, especially in the form of assistance to families in difficult life situations, has been bringing together children for years, offering them, among other things, socio-therapeutic classes, individual consultations, workshops for families, community activities, and even help with homework.
