Taping and its application

On January 15, a workshop entitled „Taping and its application” was held at the University of Health in Gdańsk, led by an outstanding specialist, Marcin Szymborski, MA, lecturer at the University of Health in Gdańsk.

The event allowed participants to gain practical knowledge on how to use taping as a technique for treating injuries, correcting posture and improving physical performance.

The overwhelming interest in the workshops demonstrates the importance of acquiring practical skills in the field of physiotherapy. Participants had the opportunity not only to learn but also to practice taping techniques, making the knowledge more accessible and easier to learn.

What is taping?
This technique uses elastic bands to aid in the treatment of injuries, improve posture, and increase physical performance. Precise band placement can achieve surprising results in both pain reduction and improved muscle function.

During our workshop you will learn how to:
– use taping in various cases of injuries and dysfunctions,
– improve sports performance while minimizing the risk of injury,
– use this technique in your daily life for better posture and comfort.

Required attire: A comfortable short-sleeved or tank top and shorts – get ready for some practical activities!
