    My name is Sandra Biesiada, and I'm a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I graduated with a degree in cosmetology from the University of Applied Sciences in Gdańsk, and I use the knowledge I gained in this field every day.
    I have been involved in student government since my first year of cosmetology and continue to do so in nursing. 
    I am the year's mayor, so getting involved in a group of students and providing help is an everyday thing for me. 
    Privately, I am a rescuer in the ADIUTARE Rescue Association and I serve in the volunteer fire brigade – which allows me to develop practically and help those in need.
    As a candidate for local government, she wants to use her skills in working with people and providing help to all those who need it.

    Hi! I'm a first-year psychology student. I've been developing my passion for working with people for years – I graduated from the University of Zielona Góra with a degree in pedagogy, majoring in socio-cultural animation, with a specialization in dance. I'm also a fitness instructor and a certified chess instructor and arbiter with the Polish Chess Federation.

    I have many years of experience working with young people, organizing cultural and sporting events, and summer recreation. I have many ideas for implementing interesting initiatives for our student community. I love active recreation, especially board games, role-playing games, and costume games – for me, they're the best way to connect people and build relationships.

    My psychology studies allow me to better understand students' needs and more effectively support their development. As a representative of the Student Government, I would like to work to create a friendly, creative, and supportive student environment. I would also like to contribute to promoting the University of Health in Gdańsk by organizing initiatives that combine development, culture, sport, and fun.

  7. Aleksandra Maliszewska – 1st year student of Cosmetology

    Hi! My name is Ola Maliszewska, and I started studying cosmetology this year. I'm an experienced student, though – I already have a bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Journalism and Social Communication, so I can, in a sense, boast about my knowledge of what higher education is like in Poland.

    Due to the coronavirus, I studied remotely/hybridly for three semesters, so I know these rules really well. I've always been a jack of all trades—a self-proclaimed school administrator. 😉 I'm not afraid of any work, and as a person on the autism spectrum, I place great emphasis on equal treatment, tolerance, and justice.

    I will be happy to take care of your, yours, our affairs. If you vote for me, I promise to do my part to make the university an even better, more open place. ❤️

    At first I was thinking about:

    public network, available to all students
    and... a kettle, so you can warm yourself with tea in the winter or grab a quick cup of soup. 😉 Placed downstairs, next to the microwave and vending machines, it will definitely serve us well.

    My name is Monika, and as a nursing student at the University of Applied Sciences, I'm actively involved in two student research groups. I also completed my undergraduate studies in cosmetology. You can meet me at the university during open days, in the Student Government Association, and on the Scholarship Committee, and I'd be happy to tell you about my choice and why I'm so passionate about becoming a nurse. 
    Learning about the culture of nursing, I've learned that this profession brings with it people of many talents. They are resourceful and full of love for the world and others. I aspire to have someone one day look at me objectively and be willing to express themselves in these very words. 
    I have many interests myself. After hours, you'll likely find me at home in the pool, rollerblading, or sitting on a park bench with a book and a cup of coffee. Perhaps one day we'll be able to passionately discuss this beautiful profession of trust that is nursing.

  10. Słomski Nathaniel

    A second-year Nursing student at the University of Health in Gdańsk, Nathaniel dedicates his daily life to others, both as a rescuer, caregiver, and volunteer. Working as a rescue driver for the Adiutare Rescue Association and as a caregiver for the Ryta Association, he combines his nursing knowledge with real-world experience rescuing and supporting people in need. Additionally, Nathaniel is an active volunteer firefighter, a testament to his courage and willingness to help in the most difficult moments.
    Volunteering is an important part of his life – as a volunteer for the Mam Marzenie Foundation and the Herosi Foundation, Nataniel makes children’s dreams come true, bringing joy and hope where they are needed most.
    As a candidate for the student government, Nataniel wants to use his experience in working with people, organizing, and rescue to support the academic community and develop initiatives that foster cooperation, mutual assistance, and community at the university.

    My name is Oliwia and I'm a second-year cosmetology student. I'm interested in holistic cosmetology and am constantly expanding my knowledge because I love exploring different aspects of skin—its physiology and care, as well as the many factors that influence its condition. I'm the president of the DermoLab Student Scientific Circle (SKN), where, along with other students, we have the opportunity to further develop ourselves and conduct various scientific research. Participating in the student research group also inspired me to join and try my hand at being a member of the student government. I greatly enjoy getting involved in university life, participating in various initiatives, and helping others. I also love creating scientific content that I can then share with others on social media.

    Hi, my name is Paulina and I'm a first-year nursing student. This is my first year of studies, and every day I'm exposed to the many stereotypes and misconceptions surrounding this profession. I'd like to join the student council to promote the true values and importance of nursing. This field requires collaboration with many medical specialists – each of whom brings their own knowledge and experience, and our involvement has a real impact on the health and well-being of patients. I believe that as a team in the student council, we can contribute to a better understanding of the profession and its role in healthcare.
