WHAT IS A STUDENT ID CARD?

A student ID is a document confirming student status. It entitles you to numerous benefits and discounts.

DIGITAL ID CARD (mObywatel)

Students can use the electronic version of the ID card in the application mCitizen.

How to activate your digital ID card?

  1. Log in to virtual dean's office
  2. Go to the tab Card
  3. Generate QR code
  4. Add your ID card in the mObywatel application by scanning the code.

The digital ID card is equivalent to the traditional (plastic) one.

PLASTIC ID CARD (ELS) - How to apply?

  1. Download the application from the university website: Student → Application forms
  2. Fill out the form
  3. Make a payment (PLN 33.00 to the individual student account number)

VALIDITY OF THE ID CARD

  • The ID card is valid after update (extension) every semester
  • The validity period is confirmed:
    • in the electronic system (for e-ID cards)
    • via hologram (for plastic ID cards)

DISCOUNTS AND ENTITLEMENTS

Possession of a valid student ID entitles you to:

  • 51% railway fare concessions (PKP) – for persons up to 26 years of age
  • 50% discount on public transport
  • discounts on:
    • tickets to cinemas, theatres and museums,
    • cultural and sporting events,
    • recreational facilities (e.g. gyms, swimming pools).
  • discounts in:
    • restaurants and catering establishments.
    • bookstores and shops.
