Is it possible to visit the university and when do such visits take place?

We cordially invite you to get to know the University during OPEN DAYS.

What are the recruitment deadlines?

  • for the winter semester (classes from October) –RECRUITMENT HAS STARTED 
  • for the summer semester (classes from March) – Recruitment lasts from November 15 to February 15*

* Recruitment for a given field of study is conducted until the limit of places set by the Rector is filled or a decision is made to terminate recruitment for that field. 

What subjects should you choose in your final exams to get into university?

We do not verify the subjects chosen by the candidate at the Matura exam or the results achieved.
The exception are the secondary school leaving certificates of candidates admitted to the field of study. nursing and physiotherapy, which are verified in terms of the choice of the biology subject and the result obtained in the secondary school leaving examination.
In the event of failure to take the secondary school leaving examination in biology or failure to obtain the required result, the university sends the candidate, before starting the first semester of studies, to a free additional training course consisting of three modules:

  • anatomy and physiology,
  • genetics,
  • biochemistry.

The course is carried out through educational platform Gdańsk Medical Academy of Applied Sciences.
Access to the platform is provided via email by the Promotion and Recruitment Office.

Where should I get a recruitment application?

Generate recruitment application on the part – after registering in the system and completing the data, then print it and sign it in the indicated places.

Where should I submit my recruitment documents?

Recruitment documents should be submitted in person to the Promotion and Recruitment Office (p. 101/p. 102), i.e.: opening hours
The complete set of recruitment documents can also be sent via traditional mail or courier shipment.

If you are unable to submit your recruitment documents in person during the opening hours of the Promotion and Recruitment Office, you can leave your documents at the reception desk in the main hall of the Gdańsk Medical University of Applied Sciences (Campus A, entrance from Subisława Street):
✅Monday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,
✅on Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,
✅on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
We will contact you on the next business day to confirm receipt of the documents.

Can recruitment documents be sent by email?

NO. We do not accept scans of recruitment documents sent via email.

Do I have to submit recruitment documents in person?

In exceptional circumstances, a complete set of recruitment documents may be provided by a third party.

Where can I get a medical certificate?

Detailed information on obtaining a medical certificate can be found here on the page.

Who can issue a medical certificate?

A medical certificate may be issued by an occupational medicine physician or a physician authorized to conduct preventive examinations.

When will I receive the recruitment results?

The recruitment results are communicated to the candidates via email after the recruitment process is completed, i.e. after September 15.
A PLACE IS GUARANTEED BY SUBMITTING A COMPLETE SET OF REQUIRED RECRUITMENT DOCUMENTS.

By when should the tuition fee for the first semester of studies be paid?

According to the signed tuition fee agreement, the tuition fee for the first semester (or the first installment) must be paid by September 10.

After submitting the documents, I am having trouble logging in to the Virtual Dean's Office system. What should I do?

Access to the candidate profile, after registration, is possible via the tab Login .

Is attendance at the inauguration of the academic year obligatory?

Attendance at the academic year commencement ceremony is not mandatory. We encourage you to attend, as it is an important event in the academic year and provides an excellent opportunity to begin your university journey and establish initial contacts.

When will I receive my student ID?

When can I receive proof that I am a student?

You can receive a certificate of student status after the start of the academic year in Student Service Office (Dean's Office) room 200.

Where will the class schedule be posted?

The class schedule is posted in the virtual dean's office 7 days before the first class. (access after logging in).

Is the declaration regarding the payment method indicated in the application valid for the entire period of studies?

Yes, However, you have the option to change your payment method after each semester. Changing the number of installments in a given semester requires submitting a written request and is only possible until September 5th – for fees paid in the winter semester and until January 31 – for fees paid in the summer semester.
