Privacy Policy of the Gdańsk Medical Academy of Applied Sciences 

 

I. Information on the processing of personal data on the websites of the Gdańsk Medical Academy of Applied Sciences 

1. The Gdańsk Medical University of Applied Sciences attaches particular importance to respecting privacy, including the privacy of users visiting the University's websites.

2. The Gdańsk Medical University of Applied Sciences has its registered office at ul. Pelplińska 7, 80-335 Gdańsk and is the data controller, within the meaning of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC), obliged to ensure that the processing of personal data of the user of the GAMNS website is carried out in accordance with the regulations.

3. The University has appointed a data protection officer who can be contacted via e-mail: administratordanych@gamns.edu.pl

4. If any data that can be considered personal data is collected while using GAMNS websites, the University complies with the principles set out in the GDPR and other data protection regulations, and in particular ensures that:


1) the processing was carried out in accordance with the law, fairly and transparently, and the data were obtained for specific, legitimate purposes;
2) collect only necessary and accurate data and only for as long as necessary;
3) personal data is processed in a secure manner, based on risk assessment.

5. User data of the GAMNS website may only be transferred to authorized persons, verified entities with whom appropriate agreements have been concluded, and entities authorized to obtain them under applicable law.

6. The Gdańsk University of Medical Sciences ensures that any person acting under the University's authority who has access to personal data processes it only on the University's instructions.

7. The Gdańsk Medical University of Applied Sciences takes the necessary measures to ensure that the rights of the GAMNS website user, relating to the processing of personal data, are properly fulfilled, and in particular to:


1) communication was transparent;
2) appropriate information and access to personal data are provided;
3) the requests to which the user of the GAMNS website is entitled are fulfilled, including the rectification and deletion of data and the right to object to data processing.

8. The University strives to properly fulfill the obligations provided for in the GDPR and other data protection regulations, however, the user of the GAMNS website has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office;
