Physiotherapy in oncology - NEW!
Physiotherapy in oncology is a field of medicine that aims to support cancer patients through treatment, rehabilitation, and improved quality of life. Physiotherapy helps patients cope with the many challenges associated with the disease itself, as well as the side effects of surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. Physiotherapy in oncology provides essential support for patients at various stages of cancer treatment and plays a key role in improving their quality of life and accelerating rehabilitation.
To meet the demand of the labor market for physiotherapists specializing in working with oncology patients, specialists from the University of Health in Gdańsk have prepared a 2-semester postgraduate program in physiotherapy in oncology, which will comprehensively prepare graduates for professional work. Therefore, this field of study is dedicated to physiotherapists.
The study program includes 94 hours of theoretical classes and 126 hours of practical classes.
