„"Studying the Diabetes Educator program at the University of Health in Gdańsk allowed me to expand my existing knowledge and acquire new skills. I currently use them in my work with patients. Personally, I believe a major advantage of this program is the commitment of the faculty. I have never encountered such openness to the needs of students. The course topics were largely tailored to the interests of the students. The extensive discussion of diagnostics, the pathogenesis of diabetes, insulin treatment in practice, new technologies, and nutritional principles gained me the greatest appreciation. The instructors were eager to share their knowledge and experience, providing specific tips and suggestions. What was most valuable to me was the translation of theory into practice. Discussing patient cases, jointly analyzing results, and searching for solutions. The opportunity to present my own analyses and treatment suggestions, as well as creating menus according to specific guidelines. The program is open to both professionals in diabetology, parents of children with type 1 diabetes, and anyone interested in this topic. I believe that everyone will find something for themselves here. I'll expand my skills and knowledge. The in-person (hybrid) mode of classes made it much easier for me to participate and was another argument for deciding to start my studies. The atmosphere during classes results in group integration, exchange of experiences, and support that doesn't end with the academic year.

DIABETES EDUCATOR GRADUATES
Agnieszka Uchnast (nurse) – It's only been a year, but it's almost like a marathon...it was worth it. Moments like these give you wings. A beautiful graduation gala combined with the National Diabetes Day celebrations and a very inspiring lecture panel... that's it. At the end, a gala dinner and a walk... the beach and sunset with "my sweethearts" and others
. Thank you for your support and motivation to continue. Ewa Dygaszewicz and Barbara Tometczak.
