Office for People with Disabilities
Our university's mission is to educate students in the health sciences, so we are fully aware of the importance of adapting the university to the needs of people with disabilities. The university authorities have established a Disability Support Office, whose mission is to provide comprehensive support to our students throughout their education. The Office's staff is happy to assist with any academic challenges, including by lending equipment to facilitate learning, monitoring current needs and concerns, and arranging access to free psychological support.
The Office for Persons with Disabilities is located on floor -1, room 014. The office is connected to the Library and Reading Room. The Reading Room has three fully equipped workstations for persons with disabilities. Each workstation includes a computer with Speech2Go software with an Ivona Polish narrator and ZoomText Magnifier with speech, a touchscreen monitor, and a ZoomText keyboard.
The Gdańsk Medical University of Applied Sciences purchased the equipment thanks to grants for tasks related to creating conditions for students with disabilities to fully participate in the educational process.
