World-Class Universities Conference Shanghai, November 3-6, 2013.

The fifth "World-Class Universities" conference organized by Jiiao Tong University in Shanghai was devoted to the most prestigious academic institutions rated in the so-called Shanghai Ranking.
Dr. hab. Marcin Geryk, professor at the Jagiellonian University and the Faculty of Management, representing the University of Health in Gdańsk (formerly the University of Management), met with representatives of science and politics from around the world, with whom he discussed, among other things, the challenges facing higher education.
This year's edition of the conference entitled "The Global Reach of World-Class Universities: What Impact They Have on Higher Education" was a meeting of scientists, university managers and decision-makers from around the world, during which they discussed examples of successful strategy implementation, good practices and challenges related to creating and managing world-class universities.
