Information clause

Dear Students,

On 25 May 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) entered into force.

In connection with the above, we would like to inform you:

  1. The administrator of your personal data is the University of Health with its registered office in Gdańsk at ul. Pelplińska 7 (80-335).
  2. You can contact the data controller via the following email address: administratordanych@wsz.pl or by phone at +48 58 769 08 00 or in writing to the controller's registered office address. You can contact the data protection controller on all matters relating to the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights related to data processing.
  3. Your personal data will be processed in the implementation of the educational activities of WSZ pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR, which means that processing is necessary for the purposes resulting from the legitimate interests pursued by WSZ.
  4. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary and essential for the implementation of the educational process.
  5. You have the right to request access to your personal data from WSZ, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, as well as the right to object to the processing and transfer of data.
  6. If you find that the processing of your personal data is inconsistent with the GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  7. The recipients of your personal data will be those entities to which we are obliged to transfer data, as well as entities providing IT, medical, educational and training, accounting and HR services to WSZ, and entities delivering postal and courier services.
  8. Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the educational process, until the expiry of the limitation period for any claims, including the data archiving period in accordance with the law, and then they will be deleted in a way that prevents reading.
  9. Your personal data will not be profiled and will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area or to an international organisation.
