Students, from today you have the opportunity to exchange your paper ID for an electronic one.
WHAT IS ELS?
ELS (Electronic Student ID) is a student identification document.
It meets the requirements specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of September 16, 2016, regarding documentation of study courses. It is equipped with contact and proximity interfaces.
University students have the right to hold the card until graduation, suspension, or removal from the student register. The ELS card displays the cardholder's personal information: first name, last name, PESEL number, address, student ID number, and photograph. This same information is stored electronically in the card's memory. The card also stores the ELS card's expiration date, visually indicated by holograms affixed to the back. Holograms are useful wherever electronic information stored on the card cannot be read—for example, during train ticket inspections.
The Electronic Student ID is voluntary.
HOW TO GET IT?
STEP 1. Fold application in the dean's office.
STEP 2. Attach to the application one current, color photo (compliant with the requirements for issuing ID cards) and one digital photo copied on a CD (packed in an envelope, format: *.jpg, 368×456 [width x height in px], 300 dpi) * in the name of the photo please enter your PESEL number),
STEP 3. Pay the fee for the ID card in the amount of PLN 17 at the Payments and Scholarships Department (room 202) or to the university's account with the transfer title "za ELS",
STEP 4. Verify data.
On the day of collecting your ELS ID card:
– the student cannot have any financial debt to the university,
– the paper ID card must be returned.
Electronic ID card (ELS) must be collected from the Dean's Office (room 200) within 4 weeks of submitting the complete application.
