You will be able to use their resources from Saturday, April 14th, to June 15th, 2018. You will receive your login and password by email after reporting to the library (room 014) or by sending an email to biblioteka@wsz.pl.
MEDLINE with Full Text is a full-text database covering medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the healthcare system, preclinical sciences, and many other fields. The database utilizes the MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) classification and enables searches of over 5,600 biomedical journals. The database contains the full text of 1,400 journals indexed cover-to-cover in the MEDLINE bibliographic database. Among these titles are full-text journals with no grace period and the highest usage statistics in the MEDLINE index. MEDLINE with Full Text contains archives of full-text articles dating back to 1936 and is an invaluable research tool for the medical literature.
Nutrition Reference Center This database is intended for professionals, students, and anyone interested in dietetics and nutrition. It includes practical tips for determining an appropriate diet for individuals with various medical conditions, an assessment of current eating habits that pose a health risk, patient instructions, and cultural and social factors influencing diets. The articles were written by renowned nutrition experts. The database is available in an easy-to-use interface, which also has a mobile version.
Rehabilitation Reference Center It is an evidence-based medicine tool for students, physicians, and rehabilitation and physical therapy professionals. Its content includes over 800 clinical reviews, information on over 100 research instruments and over 11,700 medications, approximately 9,800 exercise images, approximately 3,000 patient education topics, encyclopedias, and much more. Topics covered include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. The database is updated weekly. Clinical reviews incorporate the best available scientific evidence, gathered through systematic, rigorous observation and monitoring. All clinical reviews are written and reviewed by EBSCO's team of professional therapists. Each review includes: assessment and care plan, causes and risk factors, target outcomes and measurements, research, health maintenance and prevention, general contraindications, and precautions.
