National Diabetes Day celebrations
The echoes of Saturday's nationwide Diabetes Day celebrations, which took place at our University, continue!
During this event we received a great distinction.
Polish Diabetes Association awarded the Rector, Dr. Marzena Podgórska, MD, PhD, the AMBASSADOR of the Polish Diabetes Association badge for outstanding activities for the Polish Diabetes Association and people with diabetes.
Thank you for such a noble token of appreciation.
During the gala ceremony, the Rector, Dr. Marzena Podgórska, together with the President of the Association, Anna Śliwińska, presented certificates of completion of postgraduate studies to the first graduates of the program. DIABETES EDUCATOR.
The best graduate and winner of a scholarship of PLN 2,000 funded by the Polish Diabetes Association was Ms. Anna Gołębiowska.
Graduates of this program live in remote parts of Poland, so we sincerely thank Ania for personally accepting the award. We wish her continued academic development and the application of her acquired knowledge and skills in her daily work.
About 200 diabetics from all over the country took part in the celebrations.
