Dietetics - what after graduation

According to the definition of the International Labor Organization, a dietitian is a specialist in many fields who deals with planning, supervising and implementing therapeutic diets in hospitals and mass catering facilities, as well as the prevention and treatment of diet-related diseases.

Graduate of second-cycle studies in dietetics is prepared to run his/her own business in the above-mentioned scope, as well as to take up professional work in:

  •  public and private healthcare facilities,
  •  dietary clinics,
  •  mass catering facilities,
  •  establishments supplying food to hospitals and other mass catering facilities,
  • consumer organizations,
  • sports facilities,
  • and others (depending on the type of additional qualifications).

Completing a master's degree in dietetics gives you the opportunity to continue your education in doctoral or postgraduate studies.
