Clinical dietetics

CLINICAL DIETETICS  The second-cycle Master's program focuses on acquiring detailed knowledge and skills in nutrition in the context of various health conditions and diseases. The primary goal of this program is to prepare students to work as highly qualified dietitians, specializing in providing nutritional support to patients with a variety of health conditions.
During this educational path, students will gain in-depth knowledge of clinical dietetics, including complex aspects of nutrition related to chronic diseases, metabolic disorders, food allergies, gastrointestinal diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancer and other health conditions.
Students will learn to conduct a detailed nutritional assessment of patients, analyze laboratory test results and medical diagnoses to develop personalized nutrition plans for each patient. They will also learn how to monitor the progress and effectiveness of nutritional plans and adjust them as needed based on the patient's changing health status.
An important element of this educational path will also be learning about interactions between drugs and nutrition, which will allow for appropriate adjustments to the diet to the needs of patients taking various types of medications.
Additionally, the training program includes knowledge of the principles of diet therapy, nutritional techniques used in various clinical settings, as well as learning about supplementation and special nutritional products for patients with nutritional needs.
The Clinical Dietetics program will prepare students for work in hospitals, clinics, healthcare centers, and private dietetic practices, where they will be able to provide comprehensive nutritional support to patients suffering from various conditions. Graduates will play a key role in improving the health and quality of life of their patients through carefully designed nutrition plans and education on healthy lifestyles.
