We cordially invite you to take up complementary master's studies in cosmetology.
The studies last 2 years (4 semesters) and are held on a full-time or part-time basis.
With the growing public awareness that beauty is health, and health is beauty, the profession of cosmetologist is gaining increasing respect and demand in the job market. Everyone wants to look not only beautiful but also healthy. Our goal is to educate a team of specialists who will help society protect and care for their health, raising awareness of its importance and impact on beauty.
Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the cosmetology program, learning outcomes cover many fields, including medicine, chemistry, business sciences, and economics.
By studying cosmetology at the master's level, you will gain detailed knowledge of the structure and functions of the body – especially the skin. You will learn about the factors that influence its condition and how it protects itself. You will be able to present and characterize different skin types, describe its individual layers, and recognize them. You will gain detailed knowledge of the use of cosmetic treatments in the treatment of diseases and skincare with varying needs. You will learn the causes, symptoms, and basic treatment methods of many diseases, including lifestyle, hormonal, and dermatological ones. You will gain knowledge of allergology and toxicology, as well as cosmetics and cosmetic products used in cosmetology. You will learn the procedures for creating nutricosmetics and the principles of selecting ingredients based on the desired effect. You will also be equipped with knowledge of marketing, labor law, the principles of running your own business, and applicable sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
You'll also gain many skills, and you'll be able to refine and develop those you already possess. You'll learn how to communicate with clients and their families, how to conduct a dermatological and cosmetological interview, taking into account their psychological and cultural needs and requirements. Based on the interview, you'll be able to select and perform a cosmetic procedure using appropriate equipment and devices, suggest facial correction methods, recognize complications resulting from improper application, and even choose an appropriate diet. You'll learn how to select and use selected cosmetic raw materials and ingredients, analyze the quality of ingredients listed on cosmetic packaging. You'll also learn what to consider when selecting and performing spa treatments, specialized massage techniques, and physical therapy. You'll be able to apply various types of makeup, learn numerous methods for setting them and concealing skin imperfections. You'll learn how to examine the nail system and identify abnormalities around it. You'll also acquire movement skills in exercises that improve fitness and shape your figure and posture, allowing you to spread awareness of health and healthy behaviors.
Our proprietary training program, created in collaboration with experts and entrepreneurs, will allow you to gain the knowledge necessary for self-employment in the beauty services market and provide a solid foundation for professional work in the beauty services sector, in line with the needs of the labor market and the requirements of employers.

In addition, the university also organizes various training courses and meetings with cosmetology companies and advanced technology manufacturers to present new achievements in the cosmetology industry.
