Information on internships for students of second-cycle dietetics

Please note that one of the requirements for participating in an internship is third-party liability (OC) and accident insurance (NNW), which you must purchase on your own. Furthermore, during the internship, students are required to have a current health record (or medical certificate) for sanitary and epidemiological purposes. All medical examinations are at the student's expense.

  • The minimum weekly duration means that the internship they can't be implemented during the period shorter than indicated below.
  • The maximum dimension in one week is 40 teaching hours, which is 30 clock hours.

Classes are held in catering establishments (restaurants, milk bars, etc.) or in catering companies.

Activities in healthcare facilities such as children’s hospitals, children’s hospital wards, children’s hospices or in educational facilities: nurseries, kindergartens, schools.

In educational institutions (nurseries, preschools, schools), internships should be conducted under the supervision of a supervisor in collaboration with a nurse/hygienist. This will enable students to achieve all the learning outcomes defined in the program.

Classes are held in healthcare facilities or social welfare institutions: in hospitals in adult wards (including geriatric wards), in rehabilitation centers, health resorts, sanatoriums, hospices, seniors' homes, and social care homes.

Classes in medical facilities: in outpatient and hospital dietary clinics, primary care dietary clinics, diabetes clinics, obesity treatment clinics or in private facilities (dietary and psychodietetic clinics, sports dietetics clinics, fitness clubs, etc.)
