Day of People with Disabilities and Special Needs at WSZ – „Mental Health”

On November 21 this year, the event "Day of People with Disabilities and Special Needs at WSZ - "Mental Health" was held as part of a broader event: the 9th Autumn Health Meetings - "Mental Health of Children and Youth".
The aim of the event was to increase awareness, knowledge, and skills among the WSZ academic community and the surrounding society in various areas of health. This time, the focus was on addressing specific human needs, especially those experiencing mental health crises and related ailments and disabilities. A series of lectures and workshops were organized for participants.
After the lectures and presentations, the participants divided into groups to participate in engaging workshop activities that had not only an awareness-raising and educational dimension, but also an integration one.
A workshop dedicated to parents also took place in the afternoon. After this intense mental effort, the invited guests were treated to delicious refreshments.
