The University of Health in Gdańsk invites you to a course in the field of basic makeup, which will allow participants to gain knowledge and skills in makeup application. In a friendly atmosphere, you'll learn everything you need to create stunning makeup every day – for everyday use, work, and special occasions. See how easy it is to gain practical knowledge! All under the guidance of a professional makeup artist. This course is designed for makeup beginners as well as those looking to consolidate their knowledge. The course includes theory and practical exercises.

Course program

  • preparing the face for makeup, discussing skin types, selecting appropriate care to extend the durability of makeup
  • tricks of great makeup artists - unconventional use of makeup cosmetics.
  • methods of applying cosmetics, discussion of types of brushes
  • face shape modeling
  • eye and eyebrow shape correction
  • lip shape correction
  • discussion of beauty types and appropriate color selection
  • masking skin imperfections, analysis of the most common makeup problems

 Participation in the course is confirmed by the issuance of a certificate.

Leading

Dominika Hamziuk, M.A. – renowned make-up artist with many years of experience gained, among other things, while working on organizing fashion shows, producing television programs, and photo shoots for renowned magazines. Lecturer at the Gdańsk Academy of Medical Sciences.

In his professional career he can boast an impressive achievement, including:

  • many years of cooperation with fashion magazines in creating make-up for photo shoots, including Trendy Magazine, Flash Magazine, Your Style i Take Me,
  • ongoing cooperation with leading production agencies in the production of films, commercials and concerts – including for brands Vichy i Biotaniqe,
  • participation in the make-up for the film „"In the bedroom"” directed by Tomasz Wasilewski,
  • work on the production of the program „"My Sweet Sixteen"” for the station MTV,
  • making make-up during fashion shows „"Design in Poland"” in Vienna,
  • serving as the main make-up artist during the Polish edition Fashion Days and cooperation in the organization Fashion Weekend, where she was responsible for characterizing the collections of designers such as Maciej Zień, Ewa Minge, duo Paprocki & Brzozowski Whether Łukasz Jemioł.

Finalist of the prestigious competition Make-up Masters 2011, multiple participant Sephora University, for many years she was also one of the main make-up artists of the brand Sephora.

Recruitment

Recruitment is carried out on a first-come, first-served basis.
We consider registration to be the submission/sending of the required documents and payment of the training fee.

Required documents

1. completed application form (available at the Promotion and Recruitment Office and at page)
The documents should be submitted immediately to the Promotion and Recruitment Office, room 101, or sent as a scan to the following address: kursy@gamns.edu.pl . The training will commence only if a minimum of 8 people register and pay the fee.
Payment for training should be made to university account.
