5th Autumn Health Meetings as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week
On November 17, 2020, the following took place: 5th Autumn Health Meetings – activities of dietician, physiotherapist and cosmetologist offices in the face of the pandemic as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event took place remotely.
The aim of the event was to present the challenges faced by owners of dietary, physiotherapy and cosmetology offices during the ongoing pandemic.
The meeting was a great opportunity to exchange experiences, knowledge and views presented by experts.
The event was aimed in particular at owners of health sciences practices, cosmetologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, graduates and students, as well as anyone interested in this topic.
The program included substantive content, and experts in the field of health sciences who are owners of the following practices were invited to participate in the conference as specialists:
Dr. Monika Kuczma, MD
WCo-owner of the Kinesis sc Rehabilitation Center and Coordinator of the physiotherapist team at the Ministry of Interior and Administration Hospital in Bydgoszcz. Author and co-author of publications in national journals, as well as presentations at national and international conferences on physiotherapy, and a second-place award for her poster presentation at the International Day of Disabled Persons conference in Zgorzelec 2012. A therapist using Bobath, PNF, Vojta, FITS, and three-plane manual therapy for foot defects in children.
Dr. Paulina Borek-Trybała, MD
An oncology and bariatric dietitian and owner of a specialized dietary clinic. She expands her clinical experience as a clinical dietitian in the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy at the University of Gdańsk (UCK). Her professional specialties include oncology and nephrology dietetics, care for bariatric patients, and weight management and obesity. She shares her knowledge at numerous training courses, conferences, and through teaching with students. She is a member of leading nutritional societies such as POLSPEN, PTD, and the Polish Association of Celiac Disease Patients. She strives to pursue her scientific interests through numerous publications and presentations at scientific conferences, where she presents the results of her research.
Anna Kamm, M.A.
She is the owner of the Kamelia Beauty Clinic, which specializes in complex therapies for difficult cases, using technologically advanced preparations and the latest treatment methods.
A cosmetologist and educator with many years of experience, she enriches her cosmetology practice with education through writing. She has a rich scientific legacy, authoring numerous popular science and scientific articles in Philadelphia-listed journals, as well as presenting at national and international conferences in the field of cosmetology and medicinal chemistry.
The University of Health in Gdańsk, as an important educational center in the field of health sciences, is distinguished by its innovative nature, focus on development, consistently high quality of education, constant striving to adapt its offer to the expectations of the modern labor market and, above all, health promotion.
