TRICHOLOGICAL CONSULTATIONS WITH ONCOLOGICAL PATIENTS IN COOPERATION WITH THE POMERANIAN HOSPITALS NAMED AFTER THE PRC KR IN GDYNIA
On May 24, master's degree students in cosmetology and postgraduate students in cosmetological trichology participated in trichological consultations for patients from the oncology department as part of cooperation with the Pomeranian Hospitals named after the Polish Red Cross in Gdynia.
Mrs. M.A. Claudia Musial, a trichologist and lecturer at the University of Health in Gdańsk, spoke to patients about how to care for their scalp during oncology treatment and what to pay special attention to during care. This was an extremely valuable experience, both in terms of diagnosis and the opportunity to interact with a patient with a specific profile.
