Open Days 2022

Dear Candidates,
Thank you for participating in the OPEN DAYS of the University of Health in Gdańsk. This year, meetings were held on the following dates:

  • April 29
  • May 27
  • July 5-8
  • August 23-24
  • September 9-10

All interested parties had the opportunity to take a closer look at what teaching at the University of Health Sciences in Gdańsk is like. During their visit, they had the opportunity visit modern specialist workshops, where practical classes take place. We also provided information on university admissions. It was also an opportunity to meet with students of dietetics and physiotherapy
and cosmetology, as well as with the president of the Student Government. As usual, we organized a WHEEL OF FORTUNE during our Open Days, with attractive prizes. But that's not all – plenty of attractions and surprises awaited visitors! 

On September 9-10, the last edition of the Open Days came to an end.
Our students showed you all the nooks and crannies of the University, answered your questions in detail, and provided entertainment during a makeup demonstration and a hand exfoliation. . On August 23-24, another exciting and wonderful open house was held at the University of Health in Gdańsk. We sincerely thank you for your kindness and willingness to attend.

Meetings with students and lecturers, dietary consultations, including body composition analysis, physiotherapy demonstrations, tours of specialized laboratories, hand massages, and skin hydration testing—these are just some of the experiences our wonderful candidates experienced while visiting our university. We hope this visit has convinced you that studying at the University of Health in Gdańsk is the best choice.

We would like to thank everyone who visited us during Open Days July 5-8, 2022. These were four intense days at the University of Health in Gdańsk. There were many opportunities to meet with students of dietetics, physiotherapy, and cosmetology, as well as with the Student Government, led by its president.

⭐️Female students Cosmetology major They performed festival-themed makeup demonstrations, as well as beauty treatments, including a hand exfoliation combined with a hand massage, and a pre- and post-treatment skin hydration test. The DIY topic of making your own natural skincare products was very popular.

⭐️Students Physiotherapy They conducted individual consultations and massages. The Student Government President conducted a health quiz and also presented what students were learning in class, including wheelchair riding.

⭐️For those interested in the field of Dietetics We organized a workshop on energy drink analysis – sensory analysis. During the workshop, participants learned what sensory analysis of food involves and why it is so important in ensuring product quality. They assessed their level of liking for energy drinks and learned interesting facts about these beverages. 

April 29 and May 27 Open Days were held at the University of Health in Gdańsk. As usual, our University welcomed a group of this year's high school graduates, who will soon be choosing their future fields of study. Candidates who visited us that day had the opportunity to tour the University's specialized laboratories, obtain information about admissions and educational offerings, and even spin the wheel of fortune to win our unique merchandise. 
An additional attraction for visitors on the first day was the opportunity to take advantage of free trichological consultations conducted by Ms. Claudia Musiał – an expert in the field of trichology and cosmetology, author of the book "Cosmetological and Medical Trichology", and also a lecturer at the University of Health in Gdańsk.

Furthermore, physiotherapy students attend clinical classes in hospitals, providing them with the opportunity for real-life patient contact and a thorough understanding of their future profession.
