Prevention Picnic – Oncosafe

On September 5, the Oncology Picnic – Onkobezpieczni took place, organized by the Pomeranian Holistic Center for Cancer Prevention and Education at the Gdańsk Cultural Garrison.
The meeting was an opportunity to spend time with family and friends, and at the same time to learn more about preventive health care. 

The event program included:
 inspiring lectures supporting healthy habits,
 learning active rest,
 emergency medical services demonstration,
 dance performances,
 fencing shows,
 charity auction.

The event was also an opportunity to meet specialists in fields such as dietetics, physiotherapy, psychodietetics, psycho-oncology, and oncology, who were happy to provide free consultations and advice.
One such place was the University of Health in Gdańsk. 

The university was represented by talented students of dietetics and cosmetology, who provided cosmetology and dietary advice and prepared a host of other attractions, including:
hand peeling,
hand massage,
testing the skin hydration level,
eyebrow henna,
blood pressure measurement,
measuring sugar levels,
children's face painting.
