Meeting of the University Authorities with a representative of the Management Board of the Polish Army and representatives of Copernicus Sp. z o. o.

On November 20, 2020, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the University of Health in Gdańsk between the University's authorities and a representative of the Pomeranian Voivodeship authorities and representatives of Copernicus Podmiot Leczniczy Sp. z o.o.

The invited guests included:

• Mrs. Agnieszka Kapała-Sokalska – Member of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Board,
• Mr. Dariusz Kostrzewa – President of the Management Board of Copernicus Medical Entity Sp. z o. o.
• Mr. Rafał Cudnik – Medical Director, St. Adalbert's Hospital Copernicus Medical Entity Sp. z o. o.

On behalf of the University, the event was attended by representatives of the University Authorities and coordinators of study programs, including Ms. Krystyna Paszko, Ph.D., who serves as coordinator of the Nursing program at the University of Applied Sciences and holds the position of director of nursing and care organization at St. Wojciech Hospital, part of Copernicus Podmiot Leczniczy Sp. z o.o.

The event aimed to indicate the further direction of the university’s development by:

• discussion of the quality of education in medical fields,
• indicating the needs of the socio-economic environment and changes taking place in the labor market
• obtaining recommendations for new fields of study that are in demand and other information that may influence the improvement and ensuring the highest quality of education.

The meeting was accompanied by a presentation of the teaching infrastructure available at the University of Health in Gdańsk.
