Expert debate "Raising awareness of mental health among students and young people""
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
On October 12, a debate entitled "Raising awareness of mental health among students and young people" was held at the University of Health in Gdańsk.
Psychology experts, representatives of foundations supporting children and youth in mental health—the Aleksandra FOSA Social Support Foundation—and representatives of the Department of Health of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Marshal's Office were invited to participate in the discussion. Students from the University of Health in Gdańsk and students from Tricity high schools, along with their guardians, participated in the event.
The meeting aimed to draw attention to the mental health of young people and to present opportunities for seeking support for young people struggling with emotional problems.
Mental health is currently one of the most important issues in healthcare, but also one of the most neglected areas. Mental health is particularly important for a particularly vulnerable group: young people, who are just beginning their journey into independent adulthood.
The debate was moderated by Dr. Tomasz Lech, professor at WSZ, coordinator of the psychology program, psychotherapist and co-founder
The University of Health in Gdańsk, as an organization actively working to promote health prevention and promotion, is eager to engage in events aimed at disseminating knowledge in this area. We sincerely thank everyone for participating.
