Educational workshops for students in cooperation with PSSE in Gdańsk

On April 25 and 27, interesting educational workshops for school youth were held at the University of Health in Gdańsk.
As part of our cooperation with the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Station (PSSE) in Gdańsk, we organised classes for students:

  • 12th General Secondary School with Sports Departments,
  • Academic Secondary School of Linguist named after the National Anthem,
  • Centre for Vocational and Continuing Education No. 1 in Gdańsk,
  • XXI General Secondary School with Sports Departments,
  • Second General Secondary School named after Dr. Władysław Pniewski,
  • Image Creation School Complex.

The representative of PSSE in Gdańsk, Ms. Elżbieta Zygmuntowicz, conducted a workshop as part of the educational program „"Prevention of breast and cervical cancer"”. A large group of lecturers from the University of Health in Gdańsk conducted classes in physiotherapy, dietetics, and cosmetology. Łukasz Wodziński, M.A., taught the students the principles and proper methods of first aid. Agata Kozłowska, M.A., and the students performed body composition analysis using the BIA method using a professional InBody analyzer. Agnieszka Bugalska, M.A., led classes on the design and formulation process and production of cosmetic emulsions. Claudia Musiał, M.A., led workshops on basic cosmetology diagnostics and young skin care – makeup removal, exfoliation, and masks.

A significant dose of knowledge and new skills for eager young minds. There was no shortage of enthusiasm for the work. We are delighted that the young people participated in the workshops so eagerly and with such commitment.
