CURATIO International Medical Tourism and Health Prevention Fair
Ladies and Gentlemen,
we are pleased to announce that Gdansk College of Health as an important center for educating specialists in the field of health sciences, it was partner prestigious event.
On September 23-24 at the Amberexpo Conference Center
Curatio International Medical Tourism Fair took place in Gdańsk
and Health Prevention.
This is the first edition of the event, which opens new horizons for the development and promotion of medical services on the domestic and international markets. The fair will be dedicated to medical, spa, beauty, and wellness tourism. The event will also feature a rich conference program on medical tourism, bariatrics, and post-COVID rehabilitation. This is a unique opportunity to meet many outstanding healthcare professionals,
as well as representatives of companies in the field of medical services and products.
The University of Health in Gdańsk, as a partner of the event, presented two thematic lectures on the main stage related to the area of health:
- September 23, 2022, 1:00 PM – Stage A
Covid-19 through the eyes of a physiotherapist – patient characteristics, symptoms, and recovery options. Przemysław Malich, M.A., graduate of the Olsztyn University of Applied Sciences named after J. Rusiecki in Olsztyn. Certified manual therapist, participant of the Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, lecturer at the University of Health
in Gdańsk, owner of the company Manual Therapy – Malich Przemysław.
- September 24, 2022, 2:30 PM – Stage B
Patient with obesity and type 2 diabetes. – Ewa Dygaszewicz, Certified diabetes educator. Member of the Board of the Polish Diabetes Association in Warsaw and president of the Provincial Branch in Gdańsk.
In 2020, Ewa Dygaszewicz prepared and implemented the international KiDS program for children with diabetes in Pomerania. The program was developed by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the International Society for Child and Adolescent Development.
Diabetes (ISPAD) to support school-age children and adolescents affected by type 1 diabetes in managing their disease, combating discrimination in the school environment, and building awareness of healthy lifestyles. For many years, she has been conducting lectures and dietary workshops for diabetics, pedagogical councils in the care of children with diabetes in educational institutions, seniors, people with disabilities, and participants of activation projects. She is the author of three books with recipes for dietary dishes: "We Cook," "Direction for Health," and "Vegetarian Dishes for Diabetics," developed for people with disabilities. She works at the Diabetes Clinic at the "Śródmieście" Specialist Medical Clinic in Gdynia, where she conducts individual consultations and group training for patients with insulin-dependent diabetes.

In addition, event participants had the opportunity to visit the stand of the University of Health in Gdańsk, where specially prepared attractions awaited:
- physiotherapy consultations (including massages),
- dietary consultations, including body composition analysis,
