Obligation to have an access card
While attending classes on Campus "B," students are required to have a personalized building access card issued by the Student Services Office and a student ID. This card allows entry and movement within the building, including use of the elevators.
It is impossible to enter and use the building without an individual card!
It is forbidden to share the card with third parties!

Massage and manual therapy studio
Conducted modules include: manual therapy, physiotherapy for pregnant women, massage for selected diseases, basics of clinical physiotherapy in sports medicine.
Learn how to plan a manual treatment process. Master the independent performance of selected therapeutic procedures with elements of manual therapy. Learn the biomechanical analysis of human movement in normal conditions and with various musculoskeletal disorders, and techniques for improving joints such as the hip, knee, and shoulder. Gain knowledge in conducting and interpreting functional examinations and tests necessary for selecting physiotherapy methods, performing treatments, and implementing therapeutic methods.

The Gdańsk Medical University of Applied Sciences provides students with high-quality equipment, while simultaneously upgrading its specialized laboratories in line with emerging market trends. Physiotherapists acquire the knowledge and skills to independently and safely perform physical therapy treatments in the areas of thermotherapy, cryotherapy, phototherapy, laser therapy, and direct current, using specialized physiotherapy equipment and devices. Students learn the mechanisms of action of physical factors – electrotherapy, including the methodology and techniques of treatments such as galvanization, iontophoresis, Nemec currents, diadynamic currents, Träbert current, and others.

Physiotherapy labs feature high-quality equipment and professional products. The comfort and quality of education at the Gdańsk Medical Academy of Applied Sciences is undoubtedly one of the University's greatest strengths. During your studies, you will learn to define the physiological and pathophysiological foundations of kinesiotherapy, as well as conduct an examination and assess body posture. You will acquire skills in performing, among other things, linear measurements, examining joint mobility with a goniometer, and assessing a patient's muscle strength using the Lovett test. You will be able to teach proper gait and perform selected functional tests.
