AUDITORIUM
The modern lecture hall is a space where teachers can conduct classes and organize events with the highest level of educational comfort. It is equipped with advanced audiovisual systems that revolutionize the way classes are conducted. A professional, high-brightness multimedia projector and additional viewing monitors ensure every student has excellent visibility of the presented content. An integrated PTZ camera system allows for lecturer tracking, enabling hybrid classes and professional live streaming. Fully automated lecture connections allow for seamless audio and multimedia management, creating ideal conditions for in-person lectures, remote lectures, and hybrid conferences. The auditorium is an air-conditioned room that seats nearly 350 people and provides access to the university's Wi-Fi network.
LECTURE AND CLASSROOMS
Our lecture and training rooms combine aesthetics, ergonomics, and modern technology. The interiors are modern, bright, and spacious. Our rooms are air-conditioned, have internet and Wi-Fi access, and are equipped with multimedia projectors and screens. Each room has comfortable seating with built-in lecterns.
COMPUTER LABS
The computer labs are adapted to work in groups of up to 25 people and are equipped with projectors and screens for visualizing the topics covered during classes.
Workstations are equipped with high-resolution monitors and are connected to the university network via a stable wired connection or high-performance WiFi.
The instructor's workstation is integrated with an audiovisual system, enabling the modern delivery of practical classes, laboratories, seminars, and engineering and master's degree projects. The university operates several servers using virtualization technology to support network services.
SPECIALIZED WORKSHOPS
Sensory analysis, Biochemistry
Modules taught include: general and food biochemistry, analysis and assessment of nutritional quality.
In classes on food quality analysis and assessment, students at the Gdańsk Medical University of Applied Sciences have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice and acquire basic skills in operating equipment and devices used in food quality analysis and assessment. As future dietitians, they will learn the essence of chemical changes occurring during food processing and those resulting from the action of free radicals. They will learn how to present the basic characteristics of food additives and the interactions between food additives and food.

Fundamentals of Nursing Skills

The Fundamentals of Nursing Skills Laboratory comprises two modern, bright, and spacious rooms. From the very first weeks of their studies, nursing students practice their skills using professional medical equipment and high-quality, professional manikins – both adult and pediatric. The laboratories impress not only the students (who often already work in the medical field) but also the lecturers and visiting staff.
Cosmetology and podiatry

Equipping the practical labs with specialized equipment and top-quality cosmetics is one of the priorities of the Gdańsk Medical Academy of Applied Sciences. In a comfortable and ergonomic space, you will learn to perform foot care and therapeutic treatments, and master the principles of diagnosing foot skin and nail conditions. You will acquire skills in: cleaning and polishing the toenail plate and affected toenails, removing calluses and corns, treating cracked heels, and applying a therapeutic dressing. You will master the performance of full classic and therapeutic pedicure treatments, as well as correcting ingrown toenails using various methods.
Cosmetic
Conducted modules include: medical cosmetology, care cosmetology, lasers in medicine and cosmetology
During your studies, you will learn about the structure and functions of the skin, as well as the physiological processes occurring within it. You will learn how to correctly diagnose your skin, select cosmetics appropriate for your skin type, perform cosmetic treatments using specialized equipment and procedures including therapeutic massage and lymphatic drainage, and collaborate with a dermatologist on skin care for affected skin. You will master the planning of therapeutic or supportive treatments for skin conditions based on knowledge of dermatology and aesthetic medicine, pharmacology, and podiatry.
Commodity and gastronomy, technological and storage
Modules taught include: ethnic and regional cuisines, and dietary food preparation technology.
A space designed to resemble a professional chef's kitchen? Dietetics students at GAM in Gdańsk work in a professional studio to gain an in-depth understanding of the technological processes involved in food production, as well as the principles of proper storage, labeling, and transportation. During classes, they explore dietary habits from around the world, preparing dishes typical of Polish regional cuisine, as well as selected offerings from European and international cuisines. The acquired knowledge will allow future dietitians to apply appropriate cooking techniques to their patients and clients.

The make-up artist's skills are one of the most interesting pillars of cosmetology studies - from the classification and selection of cosmetics suitable for a given skin type, through the skills of planning and modeling day, evening, wedding, men's or photographic make-up depending on the shape of the face, eyebrows, eyes or lips - to methods of fixing make-up and concealing skin imperfections, including: discoloration, dark circles under the eyes, scars or tattoos.
Cosmetic chemistry and recipes
Modules taught include: industrial production of cosmetics, cosmetic chemistry, aromatherapy
Laboratory work involves planning and conducting chemical experiments using appropriate equipment and devices. As a future cosmetologist, you will master the production processes of cosmetic formulations: toners, gels, ointments, as well as soaps and cosmetic emulsions. During classes, you will learn how to assess the quality of cosmetic raw materials, packaging, and cosmetics, how to source fragrance raw materials from commonly available products, and how to create fragrance compositions for products of various forms and purposes (powder, body lotion, essential oil for aromatherapy).
Trichology laboratory
In the professionally equipped trichology laboratory at the Gdańsk Medical Academy of Applied Sciences, master's and postgraduate students learn the methodology of trichological procedures. High-quality equipment and a comprehensive, holistic approach to cosmetological, aesthetic, and medical trichology, with a strong emphasis on practical sessions, guarantee success in later independent trichology practice. Students and postgraduate students receive knowledge and practical skills from specialists with extensive professional experience in a space dedicated to this field of cosmetology. As part of the modules, the trichology laboratory also hosts demonstrations of the latest diagnostic equipment and treatment training with specialists from across the country.
