Public health in the health care system
Individual tasks are carried out by:

  • government administration (e.g. ministries running departments related to promotion and education),
  • state organizational units (e.g. sanitary, pharmaceutical, trade inspections),
  • local government (e.g. district, provincial and municipal offices),
  • National Health Fund,
  • non-governmental organizations (e.g. foundations, associations)
    with the participation of public health specialists

Therefore, a graduate of a bachelor's degree in public health is prepared to take up professional work in the above-mentioned places.

Professional development opportunities
Graduates with a degree Master of Public Health can join specialized training and obtain the title of specialist in, among others, the following areas:

  • epidemiology,
  • public health,
  • health promotion and health education,
  • environmental health,
  • addiction psychotherapy.

Specialization training is conducted by the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education in Warsaw.
