In accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy of October 21, 2025, on the classification of professions and specialties for the needs of the labor market, in force from November 27, 2025., Public health professions are included in the official classification of professions. In the professional group 229 – Other health care professionals the following professions were specified, among others: – Public health specialist.
Graduation First cycle degree in Public Health allows you to obtain medical profession – prevention. A graduate with a bachelor's degree in public health may apply for entry into the Central Register of Persons Authorized to Practice the Medical Profession. Upon entry, they receive a professional title. PREVENTIVE, which is recognized medical profession.
A preventive specialist is a specialist who deals with protecting the health of the population, disease prevention and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
