7th National Scientific Conference "Mental Health: A Challenge of Our Times""

On December 2nd of this year, a conference entitled "Mental health: a challenge of the present times" was held at the Rehabilitation and Treatment Center in Okole, organized by the University of Health in Gdańsk in cooperation with the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. 
The event was honored by the presence of Deputy Voivode Anna Olkowska-Jacyno.
The conference covered topics such as systemic solutions for mental health, contemporary difficulties we face as a society in our daily lives, such as loneliness, and feelings of destabilization related to warfare and local trauma. 
The speakers included experts in psychology and psychiatry.
The conference was enriched with debates on:
– „Critical areas of adult mental health for the coming years”,
– „Complementarity of distributed mental health support for children and adolescents.”.

Invited experts took part in the debates: employers, psychologists, directors of medical and spa facilities, educators, students and people working with teachers and young people on a daily basis. 
The conference was addressed to, among others, physicians, psychologists, educators, academic teachers in psychology, representatives of government and local government administration, organizations (foundations and associations) working for mental health, and other people interested in the conference topic.

The conference took place at the Rehabilitation and Treatment Center "Rezydencja LIVE" in Okole.
