On November 30, 2022, the 5th edition of the "Cook with a VIP" culinary competition took place at District School Complex No. 3 in Wejherowo. This year's theme was traditional "Polish Cuisine." The jury, composed of Maria Pietrowska from the Oranżeria La Bella Wejherowo restaurant and Sebastian Cichy from the Konci-Bolszewo restaurant, judged dishes prepared by two-person teams (VIP + student). Among the 11 guests, a representative of our university was also present. Dr. Katarzyna Kocbuch, MD, played the role of the VIP. Together with a student, the representative of our university tearfully prepared traditional Polish dishes. Fortunately, the reason for these tears was not having to "give up the apron," but chopping an onion.
 

Everyone seems to love Polish pork chops, but presenting them properly on a plate is no easy feat. The representative, however, managed to accomplish this task, as evidenced by the award for her excellent plate arrangement.

According to the Organizers and the Jury, all participants demonstrated excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Polish cuisine. All guests and participants received awards in their respective categories.
We can't wait for the next edition of the competition next year.
