AND YOUNG PEOPLE.

The event provided an opportunity for discussion between representatives of the younger generation, mental health experts, and individuals who work with young people on a daily basis. The meeting was attended by the authorities of the University of Gdańsk Health School – Ms. Marzena Podgórska, MD, PhD, Rector, and Mr. Tomasz Lech, PhD, DSc, Professor at the University of Gdańsk Health School, Rector's Plenipotentiary for People with Disabilities; as well as Dr. Marek Rutka, MP, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for the Emergency Medical Services System; lecturers at the University of Gdańsk Health School, mental health specialists, and youth from local high schools. The meeting was moderated by Dr. Tomasz Lech, Professor at the University of Gdańsk Health School.

Mental health is still neglected by schools and healthcare facilities, an area that often causes tragedies among young people who lack adequate support to cope with their problems. The event demonstrated the importance of supporting children and young people, who often struggle to cope with their emotions and don't know where to seek help. We sincerely thank all participants for their participation.
