XVIII lecture as part of the "School of Health" project, May 7, 2025.

This week we visited again Cultural and Educational Association "Active Senior"„.

This time the representatives District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Gdańsk and the National Health Fund in Gdańsk presented lectures on "Breast and Testicular Cancer Prevention." This is an extremely important topic for people of all ages.

Particular attention was paid to vaccinations recommended for older adults and the prevention of breast and prostate cancer. During the meeting, key issues related to everyday health care were also discussed, including the importance of physical activity, a balanced diet, regular checkups, and a healthy lifestyle.

After the lecture, there were workshops on breast self-examination using manikins.
